Of course they sound better, thats what the marketing said. (honestly not sure it is a difference..), however the cable is very thin, light and flexible compared to the stock cable so i'll gain in comfort and sound will not be worse. I would not like to do an blindtest, (no one really wants to do that with their expensive cables)..
But hey it's actually a silver copper hybrid and we all know silver let's out the details in the music and copper makes the bass have more impact :-)
Seriously, equal or possibly little better sound and increased comfort is enough for me and it looks good also!

As long as you happy. those looks good and remind me of Kimber cable braid. Haha. but in term of silver or copper to the sound, I have to say it is not true. Audio frequency is like DC to them, you can use anything conduct to do the audio cable. Fancy Power cord is even more ridiculous which power supply usually designed on board with many care technically after that fancy piece of wire. With saying that, I do buy high quality music system for enjoying music, have used many high end headphone as well. Even with EE background, Big part of premium is paid just for higher quality build and look, but not sound. (the same as your cable )

yeah, my work involves measuring extremely small electrical signals in the same frequency range. we care a lot about clean amplification, but any wire or power cable we find laying around will do.
