Derek, thanks for your comments. This time I only travel with my wife, so I get a little bit better concentration on compose still, got lots of complain from her. I am pretty happy with the short trip, the plan is to get a overview of both Bryce and Zion in 2 days. Next time, I will have better idea what time, what location to take pic and what gear to use

Sebboh, great series on the beach. You show what I love about this modern sensor: the ability to shoot in really high contrast, mid day light and get smooth, almost colour-negative-esk results. I noticed in Morroco in March, and I'd seen it in some other peoples work, from the a99. Makes my a900 feel old.
