Great thread.
Just received my little Marumi CPL filter which I've now got sandwiched between the lens and the hood, meaning I can rotate it with the hood, much less fiddly than a usual setup. I can't spot any added vignetting from the hood being further forward of the lens in initial test shots. It will hopefully help offset the 1/2000 shutter limit when wide open, since thats the setting I like to use most often although I know that the dynamic range of the camera can deal with wildly over exposed images fairly well anyway

yeah, i shoot in bright sun at f/2 with no filter all the time and can pretty much always save the highlights unless the sun is actually in the frame:

I still have it, but at the moment my A7r is the one that sees most use. But that could change. Seeing the quality of the work here convinces me that I should keep it.
