Thanks pburke. I've got another 14 months here, just trying to enjoy it the best I can. The D600 brings out the coma in the corners shooting wide open, I'd be curious to see how the D800 did wide open with it. I'm going to rent Nikon 14-24 and see how that does, it's supposed to be the best. Have a great weekend.
wide open you'll always have issues. The 14-24 is really nice, but may not be that much better. Check this review - been a while since I last read it, but I bought the Rokinon 14mm after I read it.
Went out to try to use Hoya intensivifier (Didynium filter) as light pollution supression filter (seems to work for sky glow caused by street lamp but color cast is not good for cityscape)
