So, I'm just wondering . . . are any of you using a favorite app and why (e.g., long exposure, etc.), an add-on lens, specific hardware/tripod. It would be good to share experiences with all the stuff that's out there.
I'm using the stock HTC app on mine, as it has full manual control and RAW support built in, so I shoot JPEG for casual snaps with it, and if I want to potentially use the shot for something more than a quick share, I'll switch to the 'pro' mode for DNG output and full control. This was processed from a DNG...I'm actually quite amazed at how good this came out, as it was getting a bit dark (this was shortly after sunset), but I braced my arms against the log in the bottom right of the shot and manually locked ISO at the lowest...OIS made it a non issue to shoot there. This would make a very nice 11x14" print, which is pretty darn good for a mobile phone, IMO. It's amazing how good today's smartphone cameras are.
