Schhh... don't promote MF lenses! Prices will sky rocket.
I had the same worries about Contax N, when invested to them, but as my observation, no price rising for atleast 2 last years, the prices are even have a lowering tendency, especially N70-300mm, 24-85mm, 100MS.The same thing happens to 645 Apo-Makro-Planar.But the C/Y are totaly different they all keep their prices even a little raise.The sole discrepancy is : electronic AF and diaphragm, the conversion mostly to Canon mount by Conurus and maybe many users are turning from Canon to others promissing systems.Just my thinkings.
Yeah, that's what they said that when Hartblei was announcing the $$$ HCam a year ago...
* sound of crickets *
I'm not worried, prices still dropping on eBay and lots of listings ending unsold. (Not even considering the crackheads asking more than $1,000 for a MF lens.)

I bought the 645 Apo-Makro-Planar for €700 a couple of weeks ago, and just a few days ago, another one ended at €675. If I see these prices again, I'm going to start collecting them, it's safer than investing in gold. I also got the 80mm f2, like new in box with hood and pouch for €330 That's an incredible price for such a lens in my oppinion.
Contas, you're right about the automatic aperture control. I think that's what's holding prices down on these remarkable lenses. As soon as the chineese put out a cheap adapter with electronic aperture control (Not the $2000+ NAM-1 conversion Conurus solution), these lenses will be in high demand.
The same will be true for the 35mm Contax N lenses.

Note the RZ67 APO 500 is unsuitable for adaptation as it lacks a focusing helical (RB and RZ lenses focus via the bellows built into the camera body). You'll want the M645 APO 500/4.5 instead for adaptation.

This boat is named Wealthy Globe, it stays at the same place for at least 3 years, I think someday it will sink.

Hi ben, my mount converter is DIY and the iris is controled electronically .But now on market have a mount converter C645-EOS with manual iris. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=m570.l3201&_nkw=contax+645+to+canon&_sacat=0
This C645 120mm is extraordinary lens, right at WO, if use on 35mm digitals the IQ is superb and PP is always left aside.

Picked up a Mamiya 645 120mm Macro a few weeks ago and just got my adaptor in the mail two days ago. Took it out yesterday and tried my best in the windy mid-day conditions.
This is one that turned out ok. Probably shoud have boosted the ISO a little more to keep the shutter speed up (1/80 @ 800). Was far too windy even in this shelterd location, the grey background is an old stone way.
Hopefully I'll have the chance to get out soon on a better day.
