Very impressive Young, nice bokeh I bet it's at f/2.8.
Here is my Contax 645 80mm f/2.0, @2.0 on Canon 5D2 Iso 3200 1/320s.It's a AF lens, it can burst with Canon.
Motorshow: everything showed.
Wow, nice images. The Zeiss (Hasselblad) Planar 100/3.5 CF and Distagon 60/3.5 CF are my favorite lenses of all time. If I could use those two lenses on a 56mm x 56mm digital back, I would sell all my current cameras and lenses and never want nor ask for anything more.

How good are these Zeiss and Mamiya MF lenses when compared to the modern Rodenstock and Schneider lenses for digital backs? Has anyone tried them on DSLR?

Well, most of those modern is better. Unless you want character. Most of Schneider lens seems to have as much character as average lawyer.

Nice serie Gil2, those are on Canon or Nikon?Do you still keep and shoot with those Hassy?
Hi Contas,
I used the Sony A700 on these with the Hassy/A-mount converter from China. I am still using the 150mm f4 on my newer Sony A77 but mostly for flower shots. I am quite satisfied with it. Also using the Mamiya 645 120mm f4 macro on my A77 but mostly with flowers and occasional insects if available.
cheers,
gil

I suppose SInar Zeiss ZH would be better then . I see it mentioned in forums that schneider lenses are sharper while zeiss less corrected to give better bokeh. Hard to find much info, as they are mainly used by pros and less by amateurs (people who "love" their gear and bother writing about their lenses ).

After more than 5 times failed to convert to SA mount, here is the first time I can see MF bokeh of Contax 645 80mm f/2 on Sigma SD1 Merrill at 1/800s, still keeps AF and electronic aperture. http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2814/9074448794_b8cfdc759c_b.jpg
