sounds awesome ,
from what i see now they are around 170$ for 1 Transmitter 2 Receiver ?
No, that is about 50% more than what they should cost. I paid $120 for 2 + 2 at a Calumet brick and mortar store (Calumet re-brands them as the calumet pro series, btw).

Are the calumet compatible with phottix?

Yep. I shoot Canon and use Nikon SB24 and SB25 off-camera. You can also use them to trigger strobes (I trigger AlienBees with them), but that requires the use of a 3.5mm cable.
That's awesome.
Wow, surpirsed it took this long for a RadioPopper user. I'm also using the JRxs! The only grief I have with them is mounting on them on the body when you want on camera fill. The bracket I need is annoying.
I actually have no idea if the Calumet and Phottix are cross-compatible, but my assumption is YES because as far as I know it's the exact same gizmo with a new paintjob. I just ordered a phottix stratos II receiver to supplement my calumet set, so when it arrives in a week or so, I'll report back here!
I use the Phottix Odin's for most speedlite work, Phottix Atlas' when I want dumb triggers and Pocketwizard Multimaxes from time to time as well. Been really impressed with the Phottix offerings. Especially the Odin's. Super intuitive to use.
