We actually drove from Oslo, Norway to Nice, France to attend a wedding. Normally I wouldn't spend 2 days in a car to stay a weekend somewhere. But considering the car we drove, it was alright
Are your snaps pixel for pixel crops with no downsampling or are they as framed for the shot but downsampled (maybe save as for web with a lower image size)?
I think the dome shots from Rome are crops with no downsampling, the river and the above italian artist shots are 1:1 with saved as a smaller image for web. But would like to know for sure.

We actually did bring a GoPro on that trip, but the audio is just too poor
Hopefully I'll get to do some proper video with the D800E before winter sets in.
