Another to share, i must say these new cameras really make black and white easier than it has ever been, i think the dynamic range improvement must have helped.
Richard, its a two exposure blend. The windows and part of the carpet had pretty intense sunlight hitting directly so the second exposure was to tame that
Just recieved my D800E yesterday, and am headed to the mountains for the weekend in a few hours. I will try to make a worthy contribution in a few days! You guys are setting the bar pretty high so far though!
That is feather detail causing the Moire. There may be no moire at all at 100% view... but all the detail is causing a slight moire at this web sized resolution, a quick trip though the LR4 brushes will fix it right up!@

Ok, these are not as majestic as a bald eagle, spent some time with a friend walking around downtown looking for a location to shoot and made a stop at the skate park.
