GX7 + 42.5/1.2 Pany

The 42.5/1.2 is the only f/1.2 lens I have anymore and the more I use it the more I like it!

A few from the beach. Ice cream was a requirement.

Thanks, the 400/2.8 as front lens with kind of focal reducer was my other way. This is with a more simple front lens.
At the moment I find no picture, I think I made some, but lot in the different folders. Show it soon.
But on EOS I have only near focussing, need a Sony Alpha 7 :-/

just to check, i notice there's a glow(not sure what is the correct term) on the photo when view 100%. is that normal for fast lens? Took with A7 + SMC Pentax-A 50mm F1.2

It's quite normal for these old f/1.2's wide open. My Revuenon does it and my Pentax-K 50/1.2 does it.

I tend to stop right down to f2 or more in bright light, wide open in low light/shade.

I think that is a characteristic of many 1.2 or faster lenses. My Nikkor 55/1.2 does that.

yup, that's normal. it's mostly due to spherical aberration.

Sony A7 & Canon FL 58/1.2 @ 1.2
Only had this lens for a few days after purchasing on the bay for $150. So far, I quite like it! Other than the literal radioactivity of the lens, I think it performs quite nicely. Wish the MFD were closer, but oh well. Seems decently sharp wide open to my amateur eyes.

Fireweed starting to bloom, winter will be here before we know it.
