Sony A7 & Canon FL 58/1.2 @ 1.2
Only had this lens for a few days after purchasing on the bay for $150. So far, I quite like it! Other than the literal radioactivity of the lens, I think it performs quite nicely. Wish the MFD were closer, but oh well. Seems decently sharp wide open to my amateur eyes.

If you want to get closer, buy a short extension tube. The shot of your daughter is great!
Excellent idea! I actually have a cheap set that I haven't even used yet. Still learning the basics. Thank you for the compliment!
Sebboh-- Looks like we both have some beautiful little girls in our lives. Especially like the one of yours kneeling down holding the flower. Beautiful young lady!

A few shots from tonight's walk with my dog, Xiao Fei Dao (Small Flying Knife - we didn't name her) !
My wife has just returned from a trip to visit our children in the UK/Belgium so it was a chance for me to stop the sale of my Cosina 55/1.2 in London and have her bring it back ! The PK mount not an issue with the A7 of course.
This lens does amazing things to specular highlights though it was really too dark even for a f1.2 lens, still I was eager to try, so these are the results. Looking forward to using it in better (well some) light ! Even in near dark the magnifying made focus relatively easy.
All shot at f1.2 (bar one - don't remember which one now - at f2 I think, when I knocked the aperture ring )
The dog was literally virtually invisible in the dark before bringing up the exposure in post processing.

kwoodward, do you sometimes shoot the cameras in your collection? The Voigtlander light meter is broken, according to a salesman in a Munich used camera store where I bought camera, very common occurrence. I have shot a role of film or 2 thru mine. If you have a chance I would like to see a picture of your collection of cameras.
Not in years, but I have a few shots on my Flickr page. I have my first 35mm still, a Canon Canonette GIII. I have a Kodak from 1876 (same year as the family bible), a medium format Zeiss Icon that I believe has DDR markings on it. My favorite vintage camera is Harold, my Nikon FTn. I have many others in storage. I used to have a very valuable Exacta with lenses and accessories in mint shape. I sold it and paid for my honeymoon to Europe. Oh, I have lots of Polaroid gear too.
