Sebboh - Thanks for this thread! So many of us wonder how these fast lens perform and this has some great examples and comparisons.
Here is my contribution with the MC Rokkor 58mm PG f/1.2. Both shots are at f/1.2. The flower is shot with a 12mm extension tube and the handheld (which is not easy with this lens wide open) portrait is a normal shot wide open. ... sorry for reposting, but i noticed, that i already know several pictures posted in thread - but i still enjoyed watching it.

Ya, I'm not sure why some folks are nervous about reposting their images. I can't see any reason why not to myself.
<shrug>
I mean as long as the person isn't insanely reposting the same few images over and over daily or weekly - WTH, it's all good! I like seeing them a second and third time! And if not my scroll wheel works just fine thank you very much.

lovely shots as always.
don't worry about reposting. i wanted this to be a centralized reference thread for anybody interested in superfast lenses, so it's totally cool to put some of your favorites here that are already posted in other threads. i think you did a comparison of like four different f/1.2 lenses in either the rokkor thread or canon FD thread? that'd be something cool to repost here as well.

Very interesting shots here! Thought I would contribute, here are some from today shot with Canon 5DII and Cosina 55mm f1.2
nice!
do you know if that lens is rebranded under any other names?
also, still no shots from the pentax 50/1.2 yet?!? i know a couple people have one, and it's supposed to be one of the sharpest f/1.2 lenses. lets see some shots with it!

I have one sebboh ... Two actually, the K and the A, but currently too busy to take some good shots
Here is the old one I posted on FM Pentax thread. Pentax-A 50/1.2
I haven't done a comprehensive test yet for all my f1.2 (Pentax-A & K, Canon 50 FDL, Nikon 50 Ais, Olympus 50, Canon FD 55, Rokkor 58) but from couple of test shots, I observed that Pentax-A is significantly sharper then the Pentax K. For close distance, Pentax-A is significantly sharper than Nikon 50 Ais. From long distance, Nikon is the winner. Hope I could find time to do a more proper tests ...Show more →
thanks, you were the one i was thinking of who had done a little comparison.
