About Manual Mode, there is no hierarchy to shooting mode. Don't think that as you get more advanced you are supposed to graduate to Manual Mode It doesn't work that way. Any image you can shoot in one mode you can probably shoot in another. Occasionally there are situation when you need to take control of the three exposure parameters, while for certain situation is easier to work with a single exposure parameter isolated.
You will never hear somebody telling you: "Wow! That is a great shot! Too bad was shot in TV"
One think you need to know once you switch to Manual you'll find that your light meter works quite different.

I told you you deserved the merits of a MKIV a long time ago. These shots are top notch my good friend. I can get as much satisfaction if not more just seeing the beauty of this 'exchange' that so many of us will never ever see. Knowing it was your 'Grail' wish makes me grin ear to ear to see that you absolutely nailed them, all of them!
20k is no easy task and You probably posted 20k images Exposure is exposure, makes no difference on how you get there, stay with what works for you most often, you know when you need to switch it up.
Truly stunning imagery, stats are impressive at 500+1.4x, PP work lends a very very nice to my eyes presentation. You are making my big Mac smile (my monitor that is)

Fantastic, Conrad! Just goes to prove that a little patience and perseverance (well, maybe a LOT) will pay off in the Holy Grail of WTK shots, and you got the sequence perfectly!
