Just a wild thought re: the new Fuji system... Fuji was doing Nikon F mount DSLRs, so maybe we can hope for a smart F mount adapter for the X-Pro1 one day? But don't beat me up for saying that.
Now that this camera has surfaced, I'm tempted to cancel the NEX7 order. I'm thinking the X-Pro1 will have cleaner corners with wides like the Heliar 15mm and most all 28mm.
I haven't read all 53 pages of this thread, but has any legacy wide angle M mount lens photos appeared, yet?
Although, I am currently not interested in the Fuji lenses, it is a nice camera "special function" feature to reverse the lens focus direction so us Leica and Canon users will feel right at home with focus direction.

My contact at Fujifilm Canada says he expects the first X-Pro 1 shipment in late February. He doesn't yet know how many will arrive, and I don't know how long the waiting list is. FWIW.
I looked at it yesterday. They have it here in a Bangkok shop. And the lenses also.

I haven't seen any M lens shots on the X-Pro1, but I'm betting you're right that it will have cleaner corners. To me, the thing is that I don't want to give up the Sony EVF quality, which is why I've stuck with the 5N+EVF as my compromise, for now. Plus, you're paying for a lot of unused tech in the X-Pro1 if you're primarily using M lenses, as that hybrid OVF is expensive, and the OVF part isn't all that useful with manual lenses.

Thanks for the link Lars. I don't understand the Thai commentary, but there's enough use of English names for parts and functions that I figure almost followed some of it. I hope I get mine soon, but it's not needed until summer.
