ZM 85 f2 on the body with a ZM 50 f2 next to it for a sense of scale. Excuse the quality of the picture as the only other camera I have is in my iPhone.

I have the same set of $5 crappy screw on extension tubes. Has anyone found high quality bayonette tubes for NEX? I have the Contax tubes which are awesome, but they only fit my Contax lenses.

That's quite a hunk of glass, Ben. What do you think of it?
^^There are no focus confim adapters for the nex and you wouldn't need one as manual focusing using peaking mode is quite nice. As for adapters, I haven't tried many, but regarding ones for SLR lenses I like those with a tripod attachment like the ones big_is has for ~35$.
Nice! I've been interested in these little guys for a while. Do they collapse completely on the NEX? Looks like they don't quite clear. What is the image quality like?

Quality is not bad for optics from the 1950s.
There are two negative points: minimum focus distance is 1m (like many RF lenses) and the max aperture is f/3.5. It's a bit slow, but for street photography it's quite doable.
They do not collapse completely nor do they hit the sensor. The sensor is located within a raised frame. The collapsed lens hits this frame.
The Jupiter-8 range of lenses in Kiev mount is one of my favourites.
I'm trying to collect all the variations
This particular lens is the first Jupiter-8 produced by Arsenal.
Production started in 1954.
Before, models were assembled by KMZ.
