But shot on a tripod, in the exact same conditions and at the same aperture of 2.8 (giving the fast FD gear an advantage), the Contax G gear is simply much better. Especially the 45/2.0. That lens is amazing! If you haven't seen it before, I'll dig some sample shots up.
I think people are interested in the looks of the lens on their body just as much as the photos they produce. I love the photos produces with ALT lens post.
Now we finally have a post with the lens on the NEX bodies... Feel free to post a shot of the lens that you have attached on the body as well!
it's great for portraits, not so good for anything where i need sharpness across the frame though. it is sharp enough in the center from wide open, but never gets critically sharp on the edges. it's pretty prone to flare too and has saturated but less than accurate colors.
