Closer than my 85L by far but also still works well with tubes. The second and third shot were with 12mm and 25mm tubes respectively.

more excellent shots, you seem to have mastered the tricky bokeh of that zeiss. i'm quite jealous of the reptiles you have to shoot.

Try ebay. It seems that the buy-it-now price on ebay has inflated to 200-300 euros, but I think it should be possible to get it for 100-150 euros, maybe on some photography forums or with some luck and patience on ebay.

You'll only need an an M42 screw thread to Canon adapter to use it on your 5D. These are very cheaply found on ebay as well. Just search for "M42 adapter Canon".
