So that's a few samples from the first half (or so) of the lenses that I've put images on-line for. When the thread gets longer I'll put the other half up. Damn I like the FM alt forum!

Strange bokeh, LeadyGonzales. Is this what attracts you to this lens?
the porst was my first 1.2 lens. since i have rokkor 58 1.2 and 50 1,2 i do not use the porst anymore, but it has such a full bokeh, which is great for dreamy flower pictures (only). compared to rokkors it is less sharp - but this extremely busy bokeh i find attractive. not always, but sometime
Thanks all. I can't say I feel like I deserve the strokes tho. God did most of the work. Besides, flower shots look so much better from someone like Denoir or others who actually know how to use a camera! I just click around.

@Bif: The 300/2.8 seems to do flowers very well.
Yup! I think that lens can do anything well. Seriously a superb piece of glass! Well worth lugging around!

Damn! Some absolutely beautiful shots, Bifur and Denoir!!
Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm afraid I can't take too much credit though except perhaps in making a good choice when it comes to lenses. Most of my flower shots look as they do because of the rendering style of the lenses that I used.

Denoir, do you use a different sharpening technique for flowers vs other scenes? 2 and 4 look incredibly sharp.
Probably my standard method, but those are old shots so I can't be 100% sure.
Ajay, that last one is superb. That's precisely the rendering style of the 100 MP that I really love.
