Many thanks for the kind words. Two of those shots were with my new 5D2, but the rest were indeed with my 20D. I have always gotten very good results from my 20Ds, except for when the focus or composition were clearly my fault. Basically, the camera always came through for me. I have printed several images at 24x36" from it that were gloriously sharp and detailed. No complaints here.
Because of those feelings, I had been very reluctant to replace / upgrade the camera instead of acquiring more glass. I bought a 5D2 about a month ago and am floored by the increased resolving power. Its color depth is not much better than the 20D, but the detail it captures is incredible, and this comes from some one who was VERY happy with their 20D. I appreciate the badgering from Luka, Jim Schemel, and others that ultimately convinced me to take the plunge. The Eg-S focusing screen is also a miracle for wide aperture focusing.
