as a great fan of spectacular lenses popping up from samyang, this really hypes me up. I was thinking getting a 24mm f/1.4L and i just saw this posted on Samyang's facebook profile 10 minutes ago. I'll be one of the first in line getting the lens!
Yeah, but all of Samyang's lenses are completely manual, so you can still get one and use it with an adapter. However, they also tend to be large, so there's that issue. (I occasionally use a Saymang (Rokinon) 85/1.4 on my m4/3 bodies, but that's passable...the 35/1.4 is not really)
Are they? I think the 35/1.4 felt a little on the large side compared to other 35/1.4's, but not massively so. The 85/1.4 was in line with others. The 8/3.5 was in line or significantly smaller than others. The 14/2.8 was around the same size as others too.
great to see them coming out with new interesting lenses. probably not something i have a use for (i'm trying to move all my wide angle shooting to the NEX), but exciting nonetheless.
I can't see the links at work, but I'm looking forward to it. I'd like to have a 24/1.4 and an 85/1.4 for my Nikon and frankly I don't feel like coughing up thousands of dollars for AF-S G lenses.

I'll get this or the 35 for my maxxum and then adapt to the NEX.
I'm waiting for aps-c specific lenses from Samyang.
I'd buy any of the following lenses without hesitation if Samyang could keep the same price tag and quality:
- WA Tilt and Shift lens (24 or 28mm)
- Short tele Tilt and Shift lens, if possible able to do 1:2 (80-100mm)
- A long macro 1:1 or a lens able to do from 3:1 to infinity
Make them a 24/3.5 T&S, a 85/2.8 T&S 1:2 and a 200/4 1:1 or a 100/2.8 3:1 for 500€ each and I'll buy them all.
