Ok, I'll start then with the meat factory, which was our major event on that day. At the end of the tour I had the feeling that it just was not my day for the Canon 5D Mk II and wide angle lenses. I am not a wide angle shooter anyhow and I should just have mounted the Nex on the tripod and shoot close-ups of details with the Macro-Elmar-R.
Well anyhow here are some random images with the Canon and the Zeiss Distagon T* 35mm f/2.8 and the Minolta MC W.Rokkor-ML 21mm f/2.8
OK folks, I'm back home. I have just converted my images to DNG files and I started with this piece of street art seeing it already is a popular image here. Did we all take a snap of that part of the wall?
Anyway. to let you know I'm processing a couple as I write. As I probably am the last one to transfer the images to a computer I think you all should feel free to post away, no need to wait. (EDIT: Now I see Philippe posted some while I typed and made a cup of tea, wayto go Philippe, I'll sit down taking a deep breath, start culling.)

Well, we seem to have skipped Tacheles, but here are 5 shots of mine from there, starting with Jonas, then Heinz and Philippe, and then some of the interior of Tacheles.
Great images and I have been really envious of you this weekend!
My favorites so far are Jonas version of the piece of art, Philippes picture of the radiators, Heinz fourth picture (great room!) and Carstens second and fourth Tacheles pictures (cannot decide for one) in the last post.
Hopefully you can be there next time, Markus! Bernhard too hopefully. We are hoping to go to Heilstätten am Grabowsee, see link above. Can you make it either of those two dates? Everyone, could you let me know if you can make it either 27.11 or 11.12?

27.11. is fine for me, 11.12. is not sure yet and depends on when exactly (I have appointments in the morning and the evening; afternoon should work).

I can already now say I will not be able to participate in another meeting this year. I would love to see Heilstätten though. I hope your Berlin meetings, or some sort of successor will be running next year as I would like to meet you all again.
Haha, I am not sure what you see in that portrait, Jonas, but I see someone trying to compose in portrait mode with a NEX swivel screen Heinz does indeed look cool, and Philippe was just picking up his stuff to move to the next spot, so I think he is halfway between sitting and standing. I would be happy to see someone post a portrait of me where I look cool, but I don't have my hopes up.
That is really too bad, Jonas, but I am sure that we will still be meeting into next year. I was hoping to get more time to talk to you next time. There are quite a few tours offered by this company, and if the Grabowsee tour is as good as I hope, we might well go back more than once.
I like the Tacheles sign and the last two, Heinz. That lens seems to have great rendering, with just a touch of bite in the boke.
Markus, this time we went from 13-17, but we could move that earlier by maybe one or two hours if it fits better. I am worried that Philippe would not be able to make it, since it is on a Sunday this time. Alternatively, we could ask for a special tour again, then maybe we could have a Saturday, but the price will come up again.

Philippe: the Makro-Elmar-R is a lens that just delivers, no matter what you shoot. It may be not the ideal lens for low light, but with everything else it shines: close-ups (obviously), portraits, landscapes.
Be aware though, that it is not very easy to focus, but my keeper rate is non the less very high, comparable only with the keeper rate I have with the C/Y Planar 50mm. It is possible that this is caused by the very smooth transition between in-focus and not-in-focus areas, which makes images that are not super sharp still very enjoyable.
There are several images posted now that I like, for example the Tacheles sign, the yellow leaves (but not the greenish background, I missed that detail and don't know what it looked like but I would have preferred a classic golden yellow tone), the second and the last ones of Philippe's Tacheles series, the 1st and the 2nd of Heinz' meat factory images... too many to mention. And it is inspiring seeing what you saw, and what I missed.
