@Wilhelm: Nice colors in your shots and I like the composition of the second one, but I think there you're producing quite obvious haloes around the cranes, buildings, chimney, etc. with your PP, which gives an impression of artificiality. It looks like you're just using the adjustment brush in Lightroom to boost exposure of those parts, or something like that.
Thanks Aham. I aim to equalize light a bit to more replicate what I think I saw compared to what the sensor got. So there is some skywork involved here but I tried to use schemes applied only applied to the level of luminosity (ie in theory should not enhance contrasty areas - and certainly not produce halos) - but I see what you mean. Here I was kind of focused on not giving too much over-sharpened feel to the images - given the staggering amount of details the G21 produces. But now that you mentioned it I see some of what you refer to, appreciate the critique. I'll work on that.
