Yes Harold. The bellows moves the lens. It is how you focus. And the lens is designed as a macro lens.

Just starting to dabble with macro photography. Went with an economical solution in an old Tamron 90mm Adaptall lens and some tubes.

Tamron 18F extension tube

Nikon PF-13 & PF-12 Extension Tubes

Godox 350tt flash, on-camera with a Angler speedlight diffuser

ISO800, 1/100s, f11 and flash at 1/32 power
