didn\'t want to get into this, since it is radically off-topic, but seeing how about 90% of forums readers seem to be pouring on the hate, a trace of counter:
maybe we wouldn\'t need more taxes if we hadn\'t be manipulated into a certain war and gone to war while cutting taxes (a unique combination).... you voted for that and now cry about the bill....
and maybe past generations had their taxes upped way more and got out of even much bigger relative deficits without making such a stink after wars....
ironically enough it also seems that many of the well off actually often do even better in absolute terms, even if not in relative terms compared to the not quite so wealthy, when more is done to help the middle class and less policy is focused on the wealthy and trickle down econ and corporate welfare....
