Spent 9 days in S. Utah visiting Capitol Reef, Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. Several days with two excellent guides, Guy Tal and Bret Edge. And 5 days on our own. Wow. I am still sorting through images of iconic and not so iconic locations. Work has been getting in the way! But here is an icon. Just made it up the trail before the good light hit. I positioned myself away from the crowd of photographers on a semi-precarious ledge. All was fine however except when some bozo above me dropped his lens hood which almost smacked me in the head and nearly caused me to let go of my tripod and camera! Whew. everything survived, except the guys lens cap.
