Staunton, the small city of around 28,000 inhabitants, and birthplace of Woodrow Wilson, not to mention home of the Statler Brothers, is where our farmers\' market is. Barbara and I have been vendors at this market for 15 years and we\'ve seen a lot of folks come and go. But this image is of a fellow that\'s been hanging out at the market for as long as we can remember. Every city has their \"characters\" and Staunton is no different. We have NEVER I repeat, NEVER seen this guy without his earphones on! And I do believe they are the same one\'s he\'s always had. He has become somewhat of a fixture and whenever someone with a dog comes near, there he goes to pet the dog. He LOVES dogs. He\'ll just stand there sometimes for a few hours, without saying anything, just waiting for the next dog to come along.
I love Staunton!
WOW.
Strange fellow!! I have to wonder what he is listening to. I think you should take your dog along and buddy-up to him.
Get the REAL story
Agree 100%. And I bet you don\'t even need a dog. He seems rather harmless. WOuld be great to have his story and have some more photo\'s maybe.
