I bought a used 28-70mm 2.8 af-s that works fine for awhile. Later it started to squeek, and finally died last week. It is on it\'s way to melville for repairs. I have had one proir to this copy that ,I bought new and sold. Never squeek. Is this a manufacturer defect on this lens that can re-occur after repair?. Should ,I sell it for 24-70mm. By the way I have 17-35 that is squeeking accasionally now.
