Another area visitor and I had discussed other Petroglyphs in the area and he had heard that this one and several others had recently sustained damage from vandals. Upon reaching this difficult to get to site, I was relieved that the damage was relatively minor. There were many thunderstorms in the valley that day as monsoonal moisture made for a very gray sky. However I stayed for sunset and lucked out as the sun peeked out from beneath the otherwise overcast skies.
