I know that I will probably be teased or lectured for this post, but it is driving me absolutely batty, and I need the guidance of those wiser than I.
This wouldn\'t normally bother me, but my D7000 performance seems to be a bit spotty. I always suspected front/ back focusing, but could never really be sure, but when I got my D300, its pictures were so much sharper than my D7000!
So I shot this image and played with the AF adjustment. This picture is with 0 adjustment, and the focus is on the third E in, on the top line.
