While I do not like to see any animals die (that includes arachnids) These are wonderfully captured. I would have Sh^t a brick if a 4" spider came out of my wood work towards me! Then I would have gotten over it and tried to take an image of it.
That is amazing, we have hundreds of lizards crawling all over the outside of our house here in Florida and I have seen them eat just about anything that crawls. Never ever seen one of them get made into a meal from anything other then big frogs and mighty big birds. That is a first for me, as several have said already, a 4 inches spider, wow, that and your images are something special.
