this is a funky shot, great. for me the minolta is the best 24er...
i thought my 35/1,8 would be enough, but the 28 is awsome ...
was the converting difficult? which version do u have.
btw is there a minolta 24mm 2.0 ?
There is no Minolta 2/24.
The conversion of the Rokkor 2/28 was not so difficult. You have to unscrew the silver Minolta mount. File down the back ca. 1.2 mm and glue a thin Prakticar-EOS Adapter on the back.
These are some pretty nice shots of the WA Rokkers...
Different than I thought they might look but still pretty good!
Thanks for posting these guys!
when i got the MD 24/2.8 i certainly did not think i would be using it for bugs and flowers much. i really like it's bokeh though, and that combined with it's excellent mfd performance and my inability to get out someplace with landscape that interests me has resulted in flowers and bugs being my main use for it.
decided to try something new with my MD 24/2.8 today – stopping it down. will have to shoot a little more with it to decide how i feel about it's stopped down performance. it's definitely awesome up close, i'm not sure about infinity though. i think most of these are at f/8, though some may be at f/5.6:
one of those waves soaked me and my camera, no ill effects from it yet though (knock on wood).
i can't not post at least one shot from the lens wide open:
