p.3 #1 · Shirley's Bay Birds

I just saw a roosting Woodie go by that 'took the cake' That show has a neat 'energy' to the light, and the more tamed color of Mrs Woodie really seem to go very well here, quite a pleasing shot my friend

I am thinking Virginia's Warbler on the Yellow/Gray as my book shows brown on the back of the Nashville variety. I believe #5 to be Blackthroated Green

Really nice detail color and exposures Martin, you and your MKIV are doing well together.

Got to go with the first one but the waxwing is a close second.

First one for me too, Martin. Looks like he moved his tail during that 1/200 sec.

Tony

You could be right Tony, do they ever stop?
Question is was it the tail wagging the duck or the duck wagging the tail
Cheers,
Martin

Great job on the Waxwing Martin, beautiful shot of the Woodie and a very nice composition too. I also like the GBH habitat shot and the first Warbler. Well done.

Kirk

Thanks Kirk for all of your picks

Hi Martin,

Number 1 is fantastic - one of the neatest, most unique shots I've seen of a woodie! Congrats!

Super nice shots of the warblers, particularly the first one.

Nice sharp cedar too.

Way to go on all!!!

You are too kind Chris but its most appreciated and made my day
Thanks,
Martin

Glad you liked the Woodie Karl.
On the warbler I looked up Virgina's Warbler and it seems their habitat does not extend so far north so I am leaning towards the NW
Am very pleased with the Mk IV so far my friend and should really read the manual one of these days
Thanks,
Martin
