A few more from my trip to Shirley's Bay near Ottawa, Ontario.
Not sure on some of the IDs here so help is appreciated.
C&C welcome,
Thanks for looking,
Martin
1 A roosting Woodie
2 Long yellow legged Plover
3 Short yellow legged Plover
4 A Warbler of some kind?
Very nice Martin, man you taking advantage of this trip to nab some different species! My favorite has to be Mrs Woodie with the greenery on the right adding just that little bit extra to the comp Congrats on getting both a Greater and a Lesser yellowlegs! I'm partial to the Lesser in this mix. I don't know the ID's of the yellow birds but I do like the comp of the first one set in the leaves like that. GBH on a stick, what perch that guy has The Waxwing is looking mighty nice Don't get in the way of them and their berries
I see you wasted no time---good for you! A gorgeous series, Martin. My favorite has to be the woodie. It looks to be a juvenile drake just beginning to feather out. I also like the warblers.

First shore bird appears to be a Lesser Yellowlegs, the next a Spotted Sandpiper.
Your first warbler looks like a inmature Nashville Warbler and the next one a is a Black-Throated Green Warbler. First photo of the Wood Duck is excellent.

Wonderful shots Martin. I like the roosting duck as my favorite. I'm no warbler expert, but I'd say the first one is a Nashville Warbler, and the 2nd one looks like a juvi Black-throated Green Warbler. It's funny you should post those two, because I just shot the same ones in my yard over the weekend.
A very lovely set Martin, with some nice framing (I especially liked the composition of #6); but #1 is definitely #1 for me. Great job keeping those eyes nice and sharp. I really love the colors (a gorgeous blue which compliments the green BG nicely). Well done!
