Peter, incredibly stacked macros.

Leaving behind the mysterious side of Elfin Forest, all of us that live near it experience some sort of magical side as well: 55 1.2 and 16 3.5, by the way I own a 16mm AFD, which can be satisfying but the 3.5 runs circles around it in color and sharpness across the frame.

Another four-legged victim of the 24/2 Ai at close-range:

this is actually a companion dog of some sort, trained to cheer up lonely people
D3s, 24/2Ai at f/4 - the typical triangular shaped highlights are still visible stopped down a little

Rafael, you're right of course! The one above ("Duke") is a dog who underwent a special training (to keep calm in stressful situations). With volunteers from an aid agency he will visit lonely elder or chronically ill people in their apartment.
Downside of this good idea is the background that many old people are lonely - families are small today and spread all over the country (4 or 5 generations back families were much bigger and cared more for their elders).
From time to time I meet a professional dog-trainer here. Her work is really fascinating and so is the ability of the dogs trained by her (some can feel an imminent epileptic shock for instance).

Ronny, wow, beautiful work with the 180/2.8 again! I'm glad you like the dog-shots, but your Nitro-portraits are clearly in another league.

Too many images to comment on, you guys are REALLY shooting up the place!

Here's my Market contribution for the week.

This is my vendor neighbor, the "Honey Man" and friend. The friend comes down every week to sit on the tailgate and they tell tall tales.

I have one more, but I'm entering it in the weekly assignment.

Some really super pictures in the last 20 pages or so!!! Someone has put the pedal down on this thread this week.

Something different from yesterday, 55mm f2.8 a freelensing attempt. The rectangular buffer makes this a slightly difficult freelensing lens as far as cutting off light.

Been really busy lately working on a new project

Just wanted to mention that the winning Powerball ticket for $590 million
was bought about 14 miles from Ray's house in case he disappears from the forum

Ray (from Ohio), I like the delicate colors and tones of your free-lensed shot.

Leighton, very nice work with the fast 50 (good luck for your WA-entry, I love it). Great focus and B&W on the tall-tale-tail-gate-shot

Philippe, as always beautiful and unique work! The framing is exquisite.

Philippe, thank you for your comment on the dog!

Leighton, is it ^Chinese leek/chives? It looks tasty for sure!

Love the tulip with a twist. It's overcast and rainy here at the moment too. Perfect light for flower photography.

I finally got time to get on here and go through about 20 pages. Amazing photos from all. My time is 24-7 with "Anderson Cooper". Kind of an experiment actually. Always was working when I got a new puppy and now with retirement I have the time to spend with him and it has really paid off. 10wks old Friday and he now rockets through the house to the door to go out and do his thing in the yard. A pic I took Sat with the 75-150 E lens

Georg, the 24/2 master, strikes again!

Ronny and Georg, nice flowers.
