Terrific! Beautiful graffiti work, well capured by a photographer who knows what and how to do. And a pretty lens of course.

Leighton, Ronny, Reagan, Jose, Ray, Ray (O), Scott - thank you for the positive feedback

Jose - you continue to amaze with the Pompeii shots. Unlike most ruins where tome has destroyed decoration these show that the Romans loved colour - presumably the owner od this house was a rich man.

Ray - I can see the D7000 staying in your cupboard! Great shots. Now for some 2/3 crops side by side with the 7K - just in case you haven't enough to do!

Ray (O) - I've generally followed Scott Kelby's advice as given in the Photoshop Elements 6 book. Dodge here, burn there hope for the best . The big barn is gorgeous.

Scott - I'm glad i don't have to grease the bulldozer before using it. Interesting image showing a facet of life those of us who never see snow don't even think about.

Rafael - fantastic images under the bridge. I've only been to San Diego once and loved it. Climate and "feel" a lot like Cape Town without Table mountain.

Curtis - we need a new image as the "signature" to this thread. Your collection seems to have since day 1 when you picked up your 8th lens. Enjoy the new one.

OK - here we go going old school. Nikon FE2 + 135/2 AIS on some old (like 8 years old) Provia 100.
The 135/2 was shot wide open almost every shot.

I'm using my FE2 that came back cleaned and adjusted, but it seems that most of my shots are back-focused - seems they didn't get the focusing screen adjusted at all so it's going back to have them do it (again?).

I also have a roll almost finished that's all 50/1.2 AIS . . . .

Definitely looking good Ray. I think that camera will take very good care of you, even as you take very good care of it. Pretty sweet images you've been posting.

I like to think I'm not quite that large!

Jose - Thanks for more of the tour. Do they put a lot of care in to the preservation of all of this?

Ray - The viewfinder is one of the main reasons I switched. I love the last image. If you haven't tried raw yet, you're in for a treat when you start developing the images.

Ray from OH - I agree with the others. This would make a fine large print.

John - Not much DR in Provia is there?

Mike, I'm a sucker for photos like the sunset you posted, though I keep thinking that I've finally spotted the comet in the pic until I blow the dust speck off the monitor!

Scott, very nice take on the construction equipment. The lsight glow and slightly busy bokeh (at least in my eyes) actually make for a neat "effect" for this particular subject.

Rafael, the under bridge art is eye opening, well done on both your part in capturing the location and on the artist's Part. I actually enjoy the context provided in your pictures than on the "official" Chicano Park website - maybe they would use your pics there.

Thanks Ray, Scott, Peter and Leighton for the comments.

Scott, loved the rust and dirt on the "construction equipament";

Rafael, amazing graffiti shots with the 20/3.5 UD. Did you use the lens hood??

John, backfocused or not, your film set and digital duping with 55/3.5 is great.
