Quite the range i normally use. But then... My 20mm is AF, and I don't have an 24mm at all. And for longer Teles... No. No. Nnnn... nno. "You GOT them, AF, but you got them.." (me to myself). So.. nnno.. nnn..aybe.

Ahh...Good choice Roland, you're gonna love this lens! I think it's a MUST have in any MF shooters bag.

Thank you. It's just... I'm not a constant MF shooter. I shoot MF, because I like to do so every now and then - or more and more.

And it is indeed a bit redundant to have a 200/2 and a 180/2.8... but then, I can't justify af-s chubby when beeing in an MF-mood.

Reagan...like the red arrow. It's pointing to a dark carner...what is in the corner?
And I like the railroad shots.

Georg...love...fades away. A conceptual photo...and I like it.

Tony...your press room shots bring back so many memories. The corrigated metal floors soaked in kerosene and ink...though the newspaper presses were three stories high...these Heidelberg presses look to be wide format...is that a paper web in the lower left corner? Are you a pressman?
Love the family portrait too!

Ronny - you get your dog in such natural settings...really like the latest.

Congrats on the fisheye Ray! The first one is such a natural subject for that lens.

Curtis...Good seperation and sharpness on the Buddha

Nice find Ray...just getting out and looking can produce such amazing results.

Thanks Jim, the arrow was pointing to a landmark. I was on an observation deck in a state park with arrows at different locations telling you to look out that way

Was thinking about the 400/3.5 several times, asked possible sellers, decided to wait...

My 400mm range is covered by:
af-s 200/2.0 with af-s tc-20eIII, and af-s 300/2.8 vr with af-s tc-14eII (all of which I got used at very reasonable prices).

If I lust for "dumb" experiments, I usually think about a tiny Nikon 1, and the ft-1 which will work with both the 200 and the 300, and with the tc even...

So no, I don't need a 400/3.5. No. nooo. not even a 400/5.6. I don't...

well, maybe a 500/4 mf, rofl
