Good to see that your eyes are getting better slowly. I'm interested in some of your gear there, PM coming in....

Thanks for asking - better, but still healing. They shouldn't be as scary for the grand kids. I began moving some manual focus stuff through Fred's B&S board. It is something I don't want to leave for others to deal with, but I'm not giving up on MF - just lightening the load.
My rut is still ongoing, but something's starting to stir. Very nice shots of Pride, and I agree.Once I see that the annual "Show Must Go On" event is posted , I know I need to get my gear in order. I didn't shoot it last year thanks to back issues, but I plan on doing it again this year. They raise so much money for our local charities.

I remain in my current photo rut, but I do know my muse will come back.
Two weeks ago I went to the San Diego Pride Parade. 35mm 2.0 ais. The events are huge, incredible attendance. There were political issues of course, of various sorts. I post with no commentary but with my belief that each person is free to choose how to live.
I was in the habit of going to Escondido Cruising Grand only, partially because my 1973 Corvette is as common as C3s get. Not that I am a show-off, just did not see the point of showing it elsewhere. When I go to these events I do not sit by the car awaiting for compliments, but go walk and take photos - bring the car for others to enjoy as i enjoy theirs.
There are three weekly events within 10 miles of my house: Friday's cruising grand, large and for classic cars only, a bit hot so I go there late in the day; then there is Rancho Santa Fe cars and coffee, nice and cool in the morning at the most expensive neighborhood in San Diego, any car is welcome and it brings all from Fiat 500s, to Ferraris; finally, at my neighborhood Kit Carson Park there is a cars and coffee for all cars, this one is small which means the crowd is more chatty. Don't go to all three every time, but it is nice to have them available.
3.5cm 2.5 S (Rangefinder) not the sharpest but a very pleasing rendition.
At the moment I have too many images to sort, cull and process.
Jumping back to Vegas and the 50/2 HC. Can't say I am a fan of Ramsay but his restaurant sure looks great at night.
It was very windy so unfortunately the flaming torch wasn't lit.
