Some more street scenes from London using the 105/2.5
Passing the time away on a warm, sunny evening with a glass of wine and crossword puzzle.
I also like that the people in your shots are acting naturally and seemingly unaware of the photographer: In my experience the fact that the 105/2.5 is relatively petite for a moderate telephoto means that it doesn't tend to trigger people's "I'm being photographed" instinct the way that light-cannons like the 85/1.4 do.
Thanks Morten. I don’t get a chance to comment but your church shots were phenomenal. My sister just got back from Copenhagen, I’d love to wander around the town with a camera for a week…

Thanks. Yes there's so much to shoot in Copenhagen

I've been considering af Nikon DR-5 Right Angle Viewfinder for my DF.
Has anyone tried these? Any experience would be appreciated 😊
Thought it would be handy for macro and close-up
I don't have experience with the DR-5, but I have a couple Nikon angle finders, and some for other manufacturers. I find they are good for low angle shots, and can be used as a poor man's waist-level finder. The magnifying finders are also beautifully made with their built-in diopter adjustments, and parfocal optics. Of course, now days, people just use their screen. On film bodies it made a big difference.

I remain in my current photo rut, but I do know my muse will come back.
Two weeks ago I went to the San Diego Pride Parade. 35mm 2.0 ais. The events are huge, incredible attendance. There were political issues of course, of various sorts. I post with no commentary but with my belief that each person is free to choose how to live.
A short distance from Nice is the colorful town, Villefrenche-sur-Mer. The depth of the water is substantial a short distance from the shore and is the most visited port for cruise ships in France.
It is a beautiful and relaxing spot with several sea side restaurants.
