James, what the heck happened?
You certainly have my prayers and best wishes. Hope your eyesight fully recovers in very short order.

Oh no, Jim, so sorry to hear that! Hoping that one good eye returns after a temporary hiatus. Waiting to hear details of the treatment that caused this. Losing eyesight is a nightmare for sure.

This is the end of Charles Bridge opposite tourist hot spot, Old Town. It is the entry to Lesser Town (interesting name) which while busy with tourists has a more local vibe.
Directly beneath me is the artwork, ""Kiss under Charles Bridge" posted earlier. It took patience getting a decent photo given the heavy traffic flow. It is amazing how crowded this bridge can get.

The artwork probably took a bit of time. I would say it is from the 15th century and seems to be in terrific condition.
The photo of the white roses is killer! How do you find so many different flowering plants, amazing.

Wife is a keen gardener. Even I lose track. There is always stuff added and she is ruthless with removing strugglers. The white roses are part of a moon garden that is under development.
As a girlfriend, I'd drag her to nurseries when I was into it myself(my father's influence). When we got married and found a house of our own, she did the equivalent of "Hold my beer", hahaha. In return, I get stuff to photograph.

Read through the last few days, the thread needs boosting!
I have not helped, being rather sick the last couple of weeks, not sure what is going on, just tummy pain for reasons not found yet, good news in that nothing serious is bad, awaiting on ultrasound results to see if it is gallstones, runs in the family.
Finally have the C1 all sorted out, had so many little defects, but now it runs like a dream and everything works, including the clock but excepting the gas gauge, need to replace the sender.
Took it to cars and coffee at Rancho Santa Fe, going to Escondido Cruising grand is not working too well as it is hot early in the day, normally I go at sunset when it cools down, which California does nicely every evening, 90F during daytime - 60F at night. The Rancho Santa Fe event is in the morning Saturdays, much cooler for the time and for being closer to the ocean.
Escondido is a classic car event with older folks for the most part, Rancho Santa Fe is any interesting car, and it is the wealthiest neighborhood in San Diego, so you see some cars that never make it to Esco.
It is several blocks of cars, many young folks, some blogging.
