Sam - nice snow - that looks like an expensive antenna (e?) too. Are you a radio ham also?

Phillippe - nice job with the PCE

Rafael - nice shot of the "desert garden"

Jose - the 14a looks like the one to get as there is nothing wrong with the image quality on the longer lenses - on the 800 it is astonishing. Excellent shots as always. The sunset is also fantastic.

Ray - the journey continues with another climate and beautiful images!

Samy - the hawk is excellent with such a short lens on FX

Chuong - nice pic of Mom and son!

Georg - is that an electrical plug?

Trying to look through the pages I missed and don't know which one to start from

Jose looks like you could get quite a decent image of the space station if it passes above you, with your setup! Americo, cool bokeh clouds around Luna!

I was part of the time in India and did a quick trip to Sultanpur national park near the capital. Only the 180 2.8 AIS with me and here's a heavy crop of a painted stork in flight.

I find myself reaching for the 28-50mm f3.5 AIS a lot. I like this little lens. Here is one with it.

I know what you mean about this little gem. So far, the only downside I see with it on FF is a little vignetting at the wide end which goes away when you stop it down a bit. Oh, and it doesn't focus as close as the 28mm f2.8, BUT has a nifty little micro setting on the 50mm side of things.

Chuong, lovely snap of your family!

Samy, a group of local hobby-historians just published a small book about the Heinkel-history and the buildings.
Many residential houses were owned by Heinkel (a fact I wasn't aware of). The book is sold-out and I have to wait for the next edition, which is announced to be published this week.

Americo, nice bokeh-play with the fantastic 85/1.4!

Peter and Leighton: electrical plug is very close, but no cigar ;-)
The "strange something" is a picture of the tiny contact-pins of a MB-D10 batterie-grip.
I was amazed by the magnification possible with the reversed 24/2 Ai.

Here's one from the ever faithful but tiny 50mm f/1.8 AI-S ... was doing a customary 10k ISO shot from my new D4 (small amount of noise reduction applied in Adobe PS)

Thanks Raboof! The 50/1.8 AI-S is definitely a gem .. and it was my first nikon MF lens .. been through many after it .. but this one has grown some sentimental value on me

Tired from work today but after seeing her after her day at the groomers, I knew I had to pick up the camera. So cute, they put these tiny bands on her ears.
And I just love the character that these old MF nikkors have!
Was rushing to get out the door for dinner and went to get an AF lens to make things simpler (I know, right?) but thought, what the heck, just shoot what's on the camera
Wide open, it's super dreamy, plus she's oh-so-fluffy from grooming.
Left it as a low-contrast shot but you can see the detail in the in-focus areas
