Lots of catching up to do this weekend. Had an unplanned side trip to a waterfall in western North Carolina today. Only thing I had with me was the Zf with 3.5cm f/1.8 adapted. Lighting was not the best with full sun on the water and the foliage in the right foreground which led to blown highlights in the leaves. So black and white processing was a must for me.
I shot several apertures but liked the characteristics of this old rangefinder lens at f/2. Used the mushy borders to frame the waterfall.

Really nice job. I don't know what the color version looked like, but this is great!

Sharp where it needed to be, George. Nice framing of the waterfall by the bushes.
The Glam Menagerie in the Bellagio conservatory.
50mm was a bit tight - particularly when the Instagram mobsters walked into your frame and stayed there forever - aagh!
Siphiwe, very nice capture of the rose and processing of the wheelbarrow.
Doug, great portrait of the happy couple with the 105/2.5.
George, great depth to your photograph. I would have never thought of taking a waterfall photo at f/2.
Prague Astronomical Clock, 1402:
The clock puts on a brief show every hour between 8:00AM and 11:00PM and it gets super crowded, The small wood doors open, the apostles make the rounds, the metal rooster crows and the skeleton strikes the metal canister.
The clock was heavily damaged by the Nazis in May 1945, restoration was completed in 1948.
Beautiful Pentax, I've thought about one here and there, and then let the thought slip back under the covers. I have however, bought one of my other dream lenses... ..

I found another rabbit hole project. Pretty sure I am a sucker for kittens, and broken camera gear. Speaking of cats - Phoebe passed away about a month ago. She literally had heart failure and collapsed. We said our goodbyes, and I let her go. Phoebe and Charlie - the two gray cats - spent many years with me at my commercial studio when it first opened until I retired. So, the vacuum has created an opening at the top female position which Momma Cat now occupies. The other cats are just now giving up searching for her. Phoebe never liked anyone except me, she followed me everywhere, and she adored posing for the camera. These were shot right after she was rescued from under a deck - having been abandoned by her mother. Nikkor 35mm f2 ai (never should have sold it) and the D800...Show more →
It is all to do with loving eggs since that seems to be the main ingredient in what they offer. Signature dish is coddled eggs over potatoes. Never heard of them before even although there is an eatery in London.

Eggslut eh, now my interest is elevated. But I'm guessing it has nothing to do with loving eggs!

Strip House & Eggslut advertising. We did not frequent either restaurant.
Great clock detail Serge. For the last one looks like you were on pretty even elevation with the clock face, though we can still see some upward orientation of the lens.

A few from this morning. I can't seem to take the 28mm of my camera since I started using it with a plain adapter to make it a 42mm with my APS-C.
