and me, I'm still chugging along but no time to shoot, but I >could< retire this month and collect a meager pension, ~$200, SS, and every day it's sounding better and better...

Not too shabby, but by scrutinizing the 6K file (I was curious to see how such a cheap lens renders), I noted a slight misalignment on the left side; not as sharp as the right side, and with more CA

The other thing I like about the 200 MF micros compared to the 70-180 Micro is the working distance, and more importantly the way the FOV is still narrow and allows better control of the background (as you've shown here) with just slight shifts of the camera position.

D7200 with the 600mm f5.6 ais + TC-16A for 1440mm effective focal length through Canadian smoke - 11 image focus stack. Some 100% crops after the uncropped first image.

There are a LOT of great images posted in the thread since my last visit, that's for sure.
