Kevin, thanks for the guessed scale on the reversed-28mm-shot!

Mike, wow, another fantastic Aurora-shot!

Ben, excellent set! My favs are the "Voyager" and the shoes (reminds me about my mismatching-footwear-fiasco ;-).

Ronny, love the lamp. Punchy and colorful, but also kinda natural looking. Love the 105/2.5's bokeh.

Leighton and Mark - love your displayed "artwork". I wish you both at least $25 Million for it - but afterwards please don't drive the MF-Nikkor-prices through the roof ;-)

Found something strange looking in the snow. Couldn't help it - I've shot a ton of pictures of this playground-equipment-thingie ;-)

all taken with the PC 85/2.8D wide open on a D3s

Thanks Peter and Georg. Georg - I agree about smaller churches are usually the better, but there is a reason this one is UNESCO world heritage site, it is stunning (and so is the library, but no photography allowed).
Peter, I have a good friend here who is South African and goes back once a year, so I get my fix off him, but thank you for the thought.

Georg - I can't remember if I have commented on your snowy old town shot but it is amazing, I though that at first it was stars in the sky until I looked again.

Tony (DC), fantastic Pano over the river, the plane and bike one is also really good, great detail from the 105.

Mike - Another Fab shot, wow that is cold! I am looking forward to see some stuff from you when comet ISON flies past!

Kevin - great macro work on those rocks.

Ronny - love the shot of the lamp, especially the grainy, creamy OOF background but enough detail to see the spiders thread.

Mike in AK - that northern lights shot is unreal, gorgeous!

Peter - thanks, these 10+ shot panos need a really large format to be appreciated... it would be fun to have the printer and the wall space!

Ben - thanks for the comment. I like your 24PCE set, the 'PREPARE TO STOP' sign is very striking. How much are you using the movements on the PCE?

Ronny - Love the 105/2.5 shot of the lamp. The texture in the oof area is really cool too.

Leighton - Thanks! And WOW I love your idea of modern art...put some curves in it and you'll give Van Gogh a run for his money!!

Georg - Thanks! I agree about keeping the MF Nikkor profile low... dslr video already did a number on values, we need to keep this to ourselves!

I'm a fan of your playground equipment study... the third one in particular is my favorite framing the tire with the aparatus. There is a playground near my place and I've shot it for over 4 years now... still looks better in person than any shot I've gotten.

WOW! I really like the the first one here, the way the red and green dominate the scene.

But the second one needs to be printed large and put on your wall, well done!

Another one from yesterday. Historical mill that was in operation from 1868 till 1970, now part of the parks system.
D800, 105 f2.5 AIS. Has some short moments of sunshine in an otherwise cloudy day, when the sun did break through it made for interesting lighting. And for rust fans stay tuned for a couple from yesterday's outing.

Roy, I like the locomotive valve shot. Where is this steam engine housed?

Tony (DC), nice bike ride images. I like the monuments in the background.

Ben, nice series. The last of the shoes in the store window is terrific!

Ronnie, the hanging light image is really nice. Just a "bit-o-rust".

Leighton, or should we say Monet! Nice accidental abstract.

Georg, the b&w of the church and previous color version are both great. I would give a slight edge to the color version.

I am sure I have missed some. Keep up the great work everyone.
