I bought from him, and yes, good seller. Curtis may be on extended sabbatical but his minions are still at work...

PSA. Some factory converted ai lenses for sale here. Don’t know anything about the seller or conditions other than wanting to share here for those on the hunt.
I can’t compete with all the recent talk about Corvette's, but can share my “ride” in good old rigid chromoly steel
Refreshed with 29+ wheelset and an updated drivetrain. There is still some horsepower in this 62 year old engine
If anyone wants to talk bike builds shoot me a PM.
Embracing the lens flare and strong backlighting on a ride earlier this morning using the NIKKOR-H·C Auto 85mm f/1.8 on GFX 50R. Processing based on Fujifilm Classic Negative profile.
This week, I have a few more images from Nippi to share. With able assistance from my Fuji X-T4, the images were taken on my balcony (first photo) and at nearby Neck Point (the rest).
It was a cold, sunny day so decided city architecture was going to a theme of the day.
I dusted off my infrared converted D610 and attached the 100mm f/2.8 E-series
Some street photography with the 28mm f/2.8 AI-S was also part of the plan.

Excellent IR shots with the 100/2.8E, Colin: I'd read from Bjørn Rorslett that the simple optical design of this lens makes it quite suitable for IR/UV photography, and your results bear this out. Have been off-and-on tempted to pick up one, but I already have the 105 f/1.8, f/2.5, and f/2.8 Nikkor AiS lenses, so seems a bit gratuitous to add another 105mm to the stable. NAS is an insidious disease..

Colin! In the words of London Beat, "I've been thinking about you" , wondering if the funk is still keeping you in a headlock. Looks like you are free, and gone back to your roots (D610). Z8?

Thanks!
I have the 105/2.5 but it is useless for IR, hence the 100/2.8. I picked up my pristine copy for $40.
The 135/2.8 AI-S is also good for IR but it has a massive IR focus shift.
When travelling light I like the compact nature of the 100/2.8 over the 85/1.8 or 135/2.8 (which are both good IR performers)

Welcome back. Spring is just around the corner.
Yeah, I left the Z8 at home. I still have not used it much.
The weather forecast was for mostly clear blue skies and low humidity in London so I decided on the D610 IR and 2 MF lenses.
My consultancy work will wind down at the end of March so I can soon go back into retirement mode and devote more time to photography.

That first shot with the red and green leaves is wonderful.
