Where is this bridge in relation to the "Locks of Love" bridge in Paris? My wife and I honeymooned in Europe and we have a pair of locks on the bridge. I would post the photo, but its not a MF lens, even though the shot was taken manually.

Headed back to Conowingo Dam this morning. The first is a shot of the scene there. Most of the birds are at the far bank of the river. Eagles were aplenty today. The setup is the 500 F4P and the TC301 on a gitzo tripod. Took this with the 20 3.5 UD.

The eagle shot is with the 500 + TC301 = 1000mm.

I imagine the time you spent with Nikki motivated you to buy this particular lens. I loved the work you did with Nikki so this addition to your kits delights me. Leighton : I paid slightly less than $300 for a good shape 85 1.8 HC (without hood and without Nikon conversion ring). I have no idea if it is a good price.

I think what you call the "locks of love bridge" is the "Archevêché" bridge in the Latin Quarter (near cathedral Notre Dame). Here is a shot of that bridge with the 28 2.8 ais :

Thanks a lot Scott! dark corners are not from the lens, I used a polar filter and I added vignetting effect in PP

Got the battery all charged up and took about 50 more shots yesterday. The colors were so great, the air so crisp and clean, I ended up enjoying the walk more than taking pictures... If any of you personally knew me, you would know that is something extraordinary for me.

Again, all shots with the Series E 50mm... I love this little lens.
