Focus stacking is something that I've only done a few times, so I thought I would give it a try with this sunflower. This technique is much harder than I thought it would be.
The first batch of swimmers taking to the water in the Harbor Spash event organized by Baltimore city this morning. The mayor of Baltimore and the state comptroller were in this batch. The event highlights the more than a decade long effort to clean up water quality at the Inner Harbor.
There's a guy in a green tshirt trying to capture the moments with a Nikon N90s, about one third of the way from the right among the front row of photographers. So there's no pics to post here until the film rolls get to the lab - and then let's hope they came out okay
For some reason the aperture ring on the 28-85 got stuck at some point. Fortunately, it got stuck at f/5.6. Kind of disappointed about that since I had started to really take to this lens as a light weight standard zoom to pop onto a digital or film Nikon for such events....Show more →
Didn’t have Nippi in the bag today, but I did have a new to me 55mm f/2.8 Micro. It was a humid overcast morning, so decided to pay the burial grounds a visit, and got a visit of my own before he slunk off into the overgrown creek.

Absolutely love these Matt, couldn't have asked for a better model. Isn't the 55/2.8 an amazing lens?
When I first got back to shooting with MF lenses, it was the first one in my bag.
George, I took the 28-85 off the camera and I can turn the aperture ring, but with a lot of force. It seems to have decided to become very sticky. Not useful at events or street photography

Just adding another photo of some pretty Nikon gear here. I recently started searching for a small camera bag that should hold no more then a camera and one or two lenses. I found one that even fits the F3 with MD-4 and the 20mm f3,5 UD Nikkor at most, so I'm quite happy with that

Thanks, Rafael.
I had to hurry and weave through the crowd to capture the moment, almost missed it.
