My 21 month old Grandson met me at my sons back stairs and I froze at this mature even concerned look. I found out it wasn't caused by my appearance, but that he had just learned his two first cousins (gs 1 & 2) were not coming to the memorial day get-to-gether. They grow so fast. I had an F3 with one, awesome but unobtanium these days. Regret selling it…
I wouldn't say the DW-3 for the F3 is unobtanium, just become a bit pricey (ca. $250 for a mint on that auction site). It was never that common an accessory during the lifetime of the F3, and most used F3's are sold with traditional prisms, but absolutely not rare. Collectors may have driven the price up, but with some diligence you can find a user copy of the DW-3 for under $100, and in a physical camera store, they would probably treat it as a junk-bin part. There also exist 3D-printed versions, but I'm going to assume these don't include the flip-up optical magnifier that an official DW-3 includes.
The DW-3 is actually a very intricate piece of kit, folding down like origami, and popping up at the press of a button, so if you think waist-level suits your shooting style, it's worth the investment IMO.
Two takes on the flowering bougainvillea. Flary wide open which I have not seen on the 55mm micro before, and stopped down to f5.6 which is more like the eye saw it. I'd promised myself it was AF day but could not resist taking out Df for this. I love how it does green.

My youngest has flown the coup, and this chapter's end feels poignant. So, I looked up a photo where he was mad at me - the day I got the 50mm f1.2 ais a little over 10 years ago. I woke him up (almost mid day), because I wanted to try the lens out. (That's what I told him - anyway)
