The 50-300mm ED ais came in, it is like new in all aspects, not one spec of dust. These lenses are proe to fungus and to separation of the front element, my other copy has lens cement around the edges of the front element but it is a strong performer at 300mm, this newer to me lens is better at the 50mm end.
I’ve recently started shooting MF Nikon glass on my Sony a6300. This was shot with a pre-ai 105mm f2.5 that was factory converted. I’m really loving this lens.

Welcome Dan, nice shots to bring for your first visit. Be prepared to get hooked on these old Nikkors! One of the interesting aspects of this thread is to see these lenses being used on all different platforms and having the glass be the unifying factor.
Dan, welcome and great photos. The105/2.5 is a killer lens.
A couple of the New Jersey Asbury Park Carousel, ca 1929. The architects of the copper clad structure were the same that designed Grand Central terminal which I thought was interesting.
The lighting was harsh on this one.
Folks were passing by and snapping photos of the interior so took a peek:
A Comma butterfly.
I have hardly seen any of these this summer. They are not common in my area.
This one settled on a buddleia by the patio so I quickly used the 180/28 & PK-13 that was at hand.
Yeah, the flag is what almost had me thinking Texas too. Very close. But the submarine was too short for the Texas Navy.
Four modern submarines that would have been able to fly the Texas flag (unofficially). The Virginia Class - USS Texas SSN-775, and three Los Angles Class - USS Houston SSN-713, USS Dallas SSN-700, and USS City of Corpus Christi SSN-705 (all three now decommissioned). I was on the commissioning crew of the City of Corpus Christi.

Loving the market shots with the 55! You have found a great combination with the adapter and the Fuji.
Thanks George. I love this combination, the focal length is the sweet spot for me. If it focused as close as my 55/2.8, it might not ever leave the camera.
On a different note, I'm glad to see the storm weaken. I was worried for the Outer Banks. I had planned on going down this September, but I'm not sure now.
