I'm still not done getting together any list of the Canon gear quite yet.
But - I see you are in Canada, and I prefer - USA sale only...
Do you have access to any relatives/friends within the USA where you could request shipment of the gear to, and then you work out details with them to pick up the gear from them?

I do have friends in states and some of them actually travel to New York and New Jersey for work and stay there for at least a week. I see that you are in NY so that should work out well. I am actually looking for the following lens:
Canon EF 28-70mm f/2.8L USM. I know this is a very rare lens but I am definitely looking for that.
-Flash-perhaps the 430 EX ii
-maybe a better body as well as currently I have xsi which I bought brand new last year but if I find a really good deal then I may consider it.

I dont usually shop online, but have purchased stuff from ebay however through my wife's account. I recently purchased the canon 10-22 from a member here his name is Joel Tron and I paid him right away so if you would like you can confirm details with Joel, it was a smooth transaction. I will obviously pay the amount for whatever gear you may have for canon and will give you my details so if you want to call my homeline or cell you sure can call me.
I understand that you might be hesitant due to my limited feedback and since you have very good feedback I am willing to give a deposit to you which you will return once the transaction has gone through. You select amount of deposit so you feel confortable and at ease. I hope that can build some trust and peace of mind for you ?
Let me know your list I pretty much am looking for either 24-70mm f/2.8 or 28-70mm f/2.8, canon flashes, canon batteries, battery grip, and in the near future I will be getting the 70-200mm f/2.8 IS USM Mark II.
Above is what I am looking for maybe not all at once but definitely the 24-70 or 28-70 and flash.
