Joakim, seems you're having a lot of fun with the Distagon. Nice shots!

Zhangyue, wow! That M3 looks like brand new. Professional product shots!

Gary, very nice set. Love the starbursts, the composition, the light rays (in shot 3), the spot lighting (last shot).

Charles, both photos are beautiful!

Andrew, very strong set as usual. Both color and b/w are superb. Seems the walking dead have reached Canada now?

Jaokim, very nice photos taken with ZM18. I had this lens on Ricoh GXR but swapped with someone for ZM21 for M9. Should have kept it.

Edward, nice series from c-sonnar. Do you observe focus shift issue with this lens? That's what I was warned.

Ryan, interesting photos from the science centre, and also those B/W on previous pages are great!

A photo taken yesterday just after a heavy rain. The scene was very dull. So lifted the color a fair bit in PP:

Allen, nice moment there!

Ryan, my favourite is your son's portrait. Awesome shot. I also like the rendering of the summicron and 3D.

Wstam, b/w works better for me. The Sonnar has focus shift, about 2 mm on the focusing ring at all distances. It's calibrated for wide open though.

WeeSin, I think I prefer the color version.
Gary, I really like both of your b&w photos.

I have two lenses in Solms right now for calibration but Leica wanted my camera as well so I dropped of my M9 yesterday with my dealer for transportation to Germany, so right now I am M-less. Let's hope it is not for long and looking at the bright side, I should get back two well calibrated lenses

Went out at lunch yesterday and had some fun with dark red filters on the MM.

Oh and Ron, I retract my statement about 60mm filters working well in the 21 lux. Did some more testing outside and although the vignetting is fixable in post, it's pretty severe.

First off, just wanted to comment on how many fantastic images there are on this thread from so many fantastic places and of all sorts of subject matter. Bravo! It seems theres a Leica for every situation.

Im a little late to the party as I just got my X1 the first of this year. Knowing what it excels at and not having unrealistic expectations has really turned this into an incredibly capable tool and a fun camera that I can have with me at all times. I love its small footprint and find it comes out with me most every time I leave this house.

I wanted to share a handful of photos from a variety of situations to show its still capable of producing gorgeous images despite newer competition.

Edward, love that painting like OFC rendering. I like those head shots with isolated background.
Gary, like both BW shots.
Allen, I like the kid with hat shot, nice composition.
Ryan, the 0.95 portrait is my favorite. I also like the #4 and #5 from 35cron set.

I am not supposed to do so during concert but can’t help. Use discreet and soft setting, still kind of laud. I have to say a NEX with tilt screen is way more discreet than Leica nowdays. Prefocused before it start, The guard is around, I know I don’t have much time to focus during concert.
